Georgia’s Pre-K Program
What is Georgia's Pre-K Program?
Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state lottery funded educational program for all age eligible four-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years.
Pre-K programs usually operate on the regular school system calendar for the length of a typical school day. Programs may be offered at local public schools or through private providers of preschool services.
The Learning Treehouse chooses to operate two Georgia Pre-K classrooms and continues to meet Bright From the Start grant requirements to operate this program.
Our Georgia Pre-K day is from 8:00 am-2:30 pm and The Learning Treehouse offers a before and after school option for care from 7:15 am-6:00 pm at normal after-school tuition costs. The Georgia Pre-K day includes lunch and snack. Breakfast is an additional cost for before and after-school students.
Our Pre-K program is a special learning adventure that we are proud to offer our families at The Treehouse and in the surrounding community.
Georgia Pre-K enrollment begins January - March each year for currently enrolled and eligible students. Our enrollment opens to the public on March 1st of each year.
